Frequently Asked Questions

Vision Platform Nigeria is a nonpartisan NGO dedicated to advancing good governance, youth inclusion, and sustainable development. We act as a bridge between data, public institutions, and community-led solutions to create a more equitable Nigeria.

No. We are an independent non-governmental organization. While we collaborate with local, state, and federal government MDAs to improve transparency and service delivery, we maintain a strictly nonpartisan stance.

You can support us through direct financial contributions, volunteering for our CivicTech Fellowship, or partnering with us as a corporate or development entity. Visit our Get Involved page for banking details.

Our flagship initiatives include Governance Watch Nigeria (citizen feedback), YouthWorks Accelerator (youth-led solutions), Resilient Communities (climate adaptation), and the MSME Growth Lab (small business support).

Accountability is one of our core values. We utilize transparent processes, conduct independent audits, and maintain open reporting on how funds are allocated to our strategic pillars.

Young Nigerian innovators (typically aged 18–35) working on solutions in health, education, climate, or civic tech are eligible. We provide mentorship, microgrants, and internships to selected participants.

We do not provide direct loans. Instead, through our MSME Growth Lab, we provide business diagnostics, mentorship, and “access-to-finance navigation” to help small businesses become investment-ready for banks and fintechs.

It is a citizen-centric platform where Nigerians can report on public service delivery via SMS, WhatsApp, or our web dashboard. This data is compiled into quarterly briefings to help government bodies improve their performance.

Through our Resilient Communities Initiative, we work with locals to design flood early-warning systems, community-led adaptation plans, and nature-based solutions to protect infrastructure and livelihoods.

We welcome partnerships from the private sector, academia, and civil society. Please reach out via the form on our Contact Us page or email us directly to discuss collaborative policy labs or community projects.
